Apartment Review for Carmel Vienna Metro - Fairfax, VA

The first clue should have been my firends who lives there told me a story of after she moved in and the movers left the A/C unit was rattling and not working correctly so she had to relocate to another apartment. From the first nigh my husband and i moved in to the apartments we should have known it was a big mistake. The walls are so thin that the first morning i was woken up by my bulimac neighbor. When we did the pre-move in inspection we noticed the thin paint that scuff easily, the poorly instaled hard wood floors, and the cheap cabinetry. Since March we have had numerous maintenance issues. The toilets clog on a regular basis, so if you eat a high fiber diet this is not the place for you. The kitchen sink leaked all over the floor. The fire alarm goes off everytime you turn on the oven. So if you like to cook this is not the place for you. The staff pretends to be so nice and polite but once you sign the lease they can not be bothered with you and move on tho the next sucker. And they have such attitudes if you call them on their poor service. Our car was towed and we have a parking sticker. The apartment gave the tow company a FOB to enter the garage and they just tow whomever they want. It's happened to many people who live here. all the staff does is aplogize. This place is all about looks on the outside. do not live here no matter what deal they give you.
