Apartment Review
worst. management. ever.
Review Date: 10/10/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
Where to begin? I have nothing good to say about this place aside from the maintenance and cleaning staff. They are outstanding, and it’s a shame for them to be associated with such a poorly managed building. A handful of the concierges have been pretty nice as well - others, not so much. Electrical: there is something fishy about the wiring here. Both heat lamps went out in the first week, light bulbs in the bathroom literally exploding, random power outages, constant diming of lights, etc. Doors: what sort of door should we get? How about one that slams constantly and allows all hallway noise into the apartment? Brilliant! Plumbing: I’d advise using no more than three sheets of TP per flush. Water: mmmmm, sulfur Neighbors: apparently $2400/mo is not enough to live where people don’t leave dog poop in the hall. Rent: is outlandish. The apartments across the street are closer to the metro, larger, and much cheaper. Location: ha! It has “metro” in the name. That ought to be a flag. There are much better places closer to the line. Check them out. You’ll be happy you did. Pool: picture your bathtub. Now add 30 kids. Business center: great place to get work done, as long as you don’t need to use the computer (kids will be playing games), internet (always down), or printer (unless you have your own toner and paper). Parking: they used to actually CHARGE for guests to park! Now they just change the rules every week and tow everything in sight. Staff: these clowns are the worst. They care nothing for the residents and treat them as an inconvenience. Any concern or complaint brought to them is met with skepticism and condescension. Words cannot fully describe my disdain for these jerks. There is a reason why a year after they opened, the street is full of moving trucks on a near daily basis. They offer great deals to get you in then treat you like garbage. Caveat Emptor |
