Apartment Review for Fairfax Square Apartments - Fairfax, VA

We have had the worst experience ever! Very misleading staff; they will not tell you any the problems they have - roaches, rodents and thin walls/ceilings! We had to pay a deposit because we are new in the country, but we received the assurances that we would get our deposit back at the end of the rent period. Now they said that because they had to replace the carpets (the carpets were not new when we moved in), we had to pay for it and they would keep about 50% of our deposit. OUTRAGEOUS! They don't give advance notice when the need to do maintenance on water and other utilities - there are electricity outages and water can be turned off at any time without prior notice! Their accounting is quite unprofessional and keeps making arithmetic "errors" even on monthly bill calculations (to the disadvantage of the tenant of course) - unless you are vigilant you can get ripped off! PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEIR SALES AGENT WOULD SAY ABOUT THIS COMPLEX - IT'S SHITTY AND YOU DON'T GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH - UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT AND STAFF, "NOISY" NEIGHBORS, BUGS AND ROACHES, SO ON AND SO FORTH.
