Apartment Review for Archstone Monument Park - Fairfax, VA

I lived in this apartment for about nine months... in that time we had our air conditioning break... TWICE in the hot summer months too, but apparently they'll only send out a maintenance person if the temperature outside is a certain degree, well living on the 4th floor it's a heck of a lot hotter inside than outside. I went to pick up packages delivered for myself to the main office and TWICE they could not find them (i did always end up getting them, but after putting up a fight). I had to call the main archstone hotline at one point when our lock broke and they did not even know the office had changed it's hours (it does not open until 1 on a wednesday). We're also getting charged an arm and a leg for cleaning when we hired professional cleaners already... and don't get me started on parking. Oh and they upped rent this year (we didn't renew our lease) by $800 a month... NOT EVEN CLOSE to being worth it.
