Apartment Review
Sucks, Nasty, Bad, and no services.

This by far has been the worst two years for me as a renter as far as the quality of the building I have resided in. The management has turned over 4 times in the past two years. This sort of thing created so much void where no one cared about the property. I was told that my building was the best tower of the three. Well, here is a recap of all the things I had to deal with: The building has 12 stories with 18 apartments on each floor, yet it was only serviced by two elevators only. Of the 730 days I resided in tower three, We had no elevators at all for 421 days. Every time we reported it, we were told (the parts have not arrived yet) We had one working elevator for a total of 309 days only. We had two working elevators for 65 days only. A handicapped gentleman lived on the 8th floor, I and a number of residence carried him down more than 50 times in order for him to go to work. My children (5, 7, and 9 year old) and I walked up to the 9th floor carrying our groceries many, many times. The Gym was closed for 90 days for renovations. The Gyms hours were cut by 30% after renovations making very difficult for residents to utilize it. The laundry room was closed down for a month for renovations. The management did not screen any resident for the last year I was there. As long as you could pay the rent, You can live there no matter how bad your background was. Therefore, many criminal elements moved in making it for unsafe for someone with little children. Many of the units had a high number of occupants which leads me to believe that two people rented the apartment (for instance) and they let many of their friends live there. Finding a parking space after 8:00 pm was a miracle. The doors to the building were never locked especially from the garage . Any one can come in any time without a key even though the building was advertised as a secure building. Have you checked out the tennis courts they advertise? Also, Please read the fine print. When moving out, I gave 6 weeks notice. Well, in the fine print, it said they needed 2 months notice. So, even though they never delivered on their promise for services through out my stay there, I had to pay on extra month in order for me to protect my credit. |
