Apartment Review for Fairfax Square Apartments - Fairfax, VA

If i were to start over again and had read the posts, I would not have gone to this hell hole of a place. There are just too many negatives in this apartment complex. I would like to share my experiences so that others do not have to go through the same kind of stuff. 1. Management as slimy as used car salesmen. Do not be fooled by how nice they are to you when you try to lease the apartment. Once you sign the papers, you will see their split personality coming into effect. 2. Believe it or not, they have more RATS than Taco Bell. If you were a rat eater, then i guess you would have no problem, since they have many varieties..big, fat, thin, and various colors too. 3. Neighbors with dogs dont care to clean after them. 4. Paper thin walls - you can hear everything your neighbors do, and viceverca. 5. Very old fashioned apartments - kitchen is completely closeted and small, it feels like you are locked in a prison. 6. Garbage strewn any time any day on the streets- no problem. 7. Lots of mexicans just hanging around YOUR apartment. 8. Management will definitely try to make you take care of apartment maintanence when you leave...better take pictures of your apartment if you happen to disregard my advice and decide to live here.

Alright...there are some plus points too: a. Trees are in abundance(but it is so in other apartments too) b. Location is good(but there are plenty of other apartments in the same location) c. The exercise room and the swimming pool and the club house are great(Too Bad you cannot live in them!!!)
