Apartment Review for Oak Knoll Apartments - Fairfax, VA

This apartment complex is run by a woman who has her whole family living and working there. The owner lives down in FLA so good luck getting something done. The property manager lives on site with her whole family in several different apartments and they walk around like they own the place. Nothing is EVER fixed or done during the time they say. I have 3 words "Lots Of ROACHES" When you first move in the have sprayed so much that it takes about a month for them to start coming out and when they do, god help you. Everything is falling apart in the building. The low rent gets you in the door but when you renew the lease they raise it so high that you might as well have gotten that apratment you saw for more. I know it is typical with complexes but with this complex "GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR DEPOSIT BACK" the property manager says that the owner has to write the check and then NEVER return phone calls. She told us that the deposit would be returned and NEVER WAS. I would not recomend this place to Osama Bin Laden that is how bad it is. If you want to live in Fairfax then spend a little bit extra money, it will be worth it.
