Apartment Review for Post Forest Apartments - Fairfax, VA

The complex looks nice outside, but they put more of an effort on landscaping than they do on fixing up the old apartments. Maintenance usually came in a timely manner, but had to return several times to fix a problem as it was not correctly fixed the first time. I moved out approximately 2 months ago and after calling several times and speaking to the property manager, I still have not yet received my security deposit. Employees give me the run around about where it is, they blame it on corporate offices. I had a return package that I asked to have picked up by UPS (a service they supposedly provide), when I called a month after I moved out they told me I had a package (failed to notify me even though I left forwarding information), come to find out it was the package I asked to be delivered. In the meantime, the company that the package was for charged me for not returning the appliance. Again, employees blamed it on someone else. They are not straightforward and will not own up to their mistakes, they keep passing the blame. I would not recommend living there, the new management needs to get organized and work on their relations with tenants.
